Cast & Crew

Jesse Flint
Jesse Flint (Assistant Stage Manager, Space Ninja, & Robotic Snowman King) is a first-time actor who is currently studying journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The A-rate cast, both on- and off-stage, has made his first time performing an unforgettable experience. Jesse hopes to continue his work in theatre in the Boulder community and beyond.

Kate Lieberman
Kate Lieberman (Plo, Merlin, Space Pirate, Robotic Snowman Guard, & Slug) is a Philly-born, Jersey-raised, NYC-schooled, straight-shootin', go-gettin' half Jew. She makes an honest living as both performer and theatre teacher and is dedicated to keeping live performance afloat for future generations. Kate is just tickled to be working with 5TH CIRCLE & cast on PYOP! She hopes you enjoy this unique absurdity as much as she has. Remember, when in doubt...buy a beer for Plo.

Megan MacGregor
This show has made Megan MacGregor (Space Zombie, Floyd, King Arthur, & Bruno) truly appreciate the value of being able to express herself in more words than "brains" and "unghhh." That being said, she is exceedingly tickled to partake in her first 5TH CIRCLE production, a scintillating oeuvre of which she excitedly anticipates your unmitigated delectation. Megan has been involved in multifarious constituents of theatre throughout her pedagogical career, including directing a thespian adaptation of 1984 and cavorting blithely as Emily Kimbrough in Our Hearts were Young and Gay. She is an ardent theatregoer and aspires that this production will enkindle a similar zeal in all of you.

Joel Massey
Joel Massey (You) has discovered the lost art of theatre (and acting). He pours out his soul during each performance and expresses emotiong that you never knew existed. Raised by a pack of wolves, Joel has united the link between man and animal. Joel's favorite food to eat is Pez, cherry flavored Pez. No question about it. He is also a singer/songwriter and has the voice that only angels dream of.

Tobias Mullen
Tobias Mullen (Playwright & Stage Manager) is a playwright, techie, and barista. This is his second produced play, the first being As Interpreted by the Reynolds, also produced by 5TH CIRCLE. Tobias would like to thank the entire cast and crew for bringing his play to life, and give a very special thanks for Jinger and Alexis, for saying, "Yeah, that'll work."

Jinger Roy
Jinger Roy (Set Designer, Sharkspeare, & the Scientist) loves working on both sides of the production, and this play has been no exception. Jinger is a graduate from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, and in addition to lots of building, carving, painting, and prop buying, she offers her voice to the poet of the deep and the most annoying Scientist ever. She hopes that the audience has just as much fun guiding the show as we have had bringing it to you, and reminds everyone that sometimes you have to choose to stay at work! (psst: Lex & T! We actually did it!)

Alexis Sterling
Alexis Sterling (Director & Narrator) is a founding member of 5TH CIRCLE THEATRE COMPANY. Having been in theatre for the past 27 years, Alexis has finally found her niche(s), both as a Director, and as an Actor. A graduate of the Theatre Performance program at the University of New Orleans, Alexis has worked in both capacities throughout the United States and France. Alexis would like to thank her mom and dad -- because of their unflagging support for this crazy life, her brothers -- for making her who she is, Dale -- 'cause he said I could/should do it, the entire cast, crew, and Gang Forward -- for going there! She would especially like to thank Jinger, Aaron, and Tobias; without those three, none of this would be possible! Alexis hopes you have as much fun participatin' as we did creatin'!

Lori Lee Wallace
Lori Lee Wallace (Mermaid, the Kid, the Voice, Robotic Snowman Guard, & Lancelot) is thrilled to be part of the Boulder Fringe Festival for the first time. She holds a BFA as well as an MFA in Acting/Directing. She is currently a Ph.D. in Theatre student at CU Boulder, where she will be directing Quake next semester. Some of her favorite past roles include Rosalind in As You Like It, Rose in Dancing at Lughnasa, and Desdemona in Desdemona, a Play About a Handkerchief. She would like to thank 5TH CIRCLE for a summer of laughs!

Gang Forward
Gang Forward (Live Band) is an exciting new rock band from Boulder, CO. Their music is an amalgam of heavy riffs, ethereal melodies, and hard dynamics. Gang Forward was formed in March 2008 by Aaron Cooley and Ian McKitrick after playing in many bands together.

Aaron Cooley
Aaron Cooley (Music & Lyrics co-writer, Guitar, & Vocals) is the singer/lead guitarist in the rock band Gang Forward. Aaron has written music for 5TH CIRCLE before and enjoys working on their productions.

Ian McKitrick
Ian McKitrick (Bass) is the bass player of the band, Gang Forward! He would like to thank everyone involved with the play. This is Ian's first play, and he is super proud to be a part of such a great production. When not playing bass, Ian is a research assistant at the University of Colorado, Denver.

Mike Arledge (Band Assistant & Sound Tech) is assisting Gang Forward with the sound production. He worked for Spinal Tech, the University of Florida sound production team while at school.
